![]() ![]() It's simply too easy to make an online game a complete nightmare to crack and this game isn't popular enough that many people would expend any significant effort on it.Ĭlick to expand.I feel opposite. If Helius goes and encrypts traffic, implements stuff like Denuvo/VMProtect/Digital.AI and then starts moving more functionality server side to hinder cracking it is extremely unlikely that anybody is going to crack it. ![]() Even then it took months for it to be cracked. ![]() So you could just use wireshark or something to watch what the game sent, how the server responded and build a server emulator around it. In the first build of this game, and based on the comments from those that cracked it in this thread, it seems barely anything was server side and traffic wasn't encrypted. Going multiplayer only significant increases the complexity as you can't just strip out or intercept any calls to whatever random function is checking activation and you might need to replicate functionality provided by the server. There are however still plenty of games which have never been cracked, especially multiplayer games, as it's a balance between how hard it is to crack and how popular the game is. Click to expand. Not all applications are crackable, it's just that games have to keep a lot of stuff client side which puts them at a disadvantage. ![]()
